Data Clerk

To ensure accurate, timely, and secure capture, updating and maintenance of company data and records to support operations.

The Role

Data Entry and Maintenance

  • Accurately input data from source document into database and spreadsheets.
  • Update and verify existing records to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform regular data cleaning to remove errors duplicates and outdated information.
  • To correct errors and organise information in the manner that will optimise swift and accurate capturing
  • To inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
  • To prepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant officials

  • Organize and file physical and digital documents according to company policy.
  • Retrieve records for internal teams and authorized parties upon request.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information
  • Assist with inventory checks, stock and Rock Tools drilled meters reconciliation.
  • To offer support with data queries and verifications.

Your profile:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate Diploma in IT, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1 + year experience in data entry, clerical, or administration role is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates with strong computer skills will be considered
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality.

Personal Attributes

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and meeting deadline.
  • A valid driver’s license, an added advantage.
  • Goal driven and have a track record of achieving those great results through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Physical and medical ability to work in a mining environment
  • Should be a Zambian National
