Job Description

Leidos is seeking highly qualified professionals to support the TSA Focus Program.

We are especially interested in connecting with current incumbent personnel supporting this mission who are interested in continuing their work and bringing their valuable mission knowledge and experience to Leidos.

​The Asset Management role provides comprehensive lifecycle management and accountability for TSA IT assets. The position manages inventory, asset records, reconciliation, movement, issuance, return, replacement, disposition, configuration information, chain-of-custody, and reporting.

​The position works across Service Desk, Desktop Support, project teams, logistics, service owners, and TSA property stakeholders to ensure accurate asset records, accountability, audit readiness, and effective lifecycle management.

Work Location:

​The position may require onsite support, physical inventory activities, asset movement, and coordination across TSA locations.

Essential Duties Could Include the following:

  • ​Manage hardware asset lifecycle activities including intake, inventory, movement, issuance, return, replacement, and disposition.
  • ​Maintain accurate asset records and configuration information in approved systems of record.
  • ​Reconcile asset records with TSA systems of record.
  • ​Support physical inventory, reconciliation, and asset validation activities.
  • ​Track asset status, ownership, location, configuration, and chain-of-custody.
  • ​Coordinate asset activities with Desktop Support, Service Desk, project teams, logistics, facilities, and TSA property stakeholders.
  • ​Support asset requirements associated with IMACs, projects, deployments, replacements, and decommissions.
  • ​Maintain accurate documentation supporting asset accountability and audit readiness.
  • ​Develop asset metrics, reports, and management information.
  • ​Identify asset discrepancies, risks, and lifecycle issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • ​Support software asset management, licensing, entitlement, compliance, and reconciliation activities when assigned.
  • ​Identify opportunities to improve asset lifecycle processes, accountability, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications Could Include

​Requirements will vary depending on the specific position and level. Qualifications may include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • ​Relevant experience supporting IT asset management, hardware lifecycle management, logistics, or property accountability in an enterprise or federal IT environment.
  • ​Strong organization, documentation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • ​Experience maintaining and reconciling asset inventories and systems of record.
  • ​Ability to coordinate asset activities across technical and operational teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Suitability
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security Clearance

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • ​TSA, DHS, or other federal IT experience.
  • ​Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management or SAM.
  • ​Experience with hardware inventory, logistics, chain-of-custody, and accountable property.
  • ​Experience with software licensing and entitlement management.
  • ​Experience with Flexera or comparable software asset-management platforms.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
