
Job Duties: Vice President, Product Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Serve as a Product Manager, responsible for developing and delivering software applications for trading and corporate banking businesses including front, middle and back-office functions. Guide every step of the product's lifecycle working cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds, breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Define technology product vision and align stakeholders around the product vision. Develop technology product strategy by incorporating user research, market analysis and technical feasibility. Breakdown complex problems into executable roadmaps to drive product development. Execute product delivery following agile methodologies, setting, and measuring objectives and key results (OKRs). Manage product backlog, prioritize deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met. Lead the release planning including testing and release communication.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Financial Technology or related field. Employer will accept bachelor's degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, or combination of degree(s) and professional work experience, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service. Five (5) years of experience in job offered or related IT Product Manager role. Prior employment must include five (5) years of experience with: Working as a Product Manager to gather requirements and create user experiences; Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and delivering software solutions on schedule and within budget; Strong understanding of financial products and instruments, investment strategies and asset management, including across equity, fixed income and derivative securities; Proficiency in collaborating with technical teams, understanding software architecture, and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Developing technical product roadmaps, including working with Engineers to determine if a design can be modified based on its technical limitations; Leading user acceptance testing, including writing and completing both progression/regression test cases; Experience partnering and driving results with third party vendors.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $151,000 - $243,000.
