Job Description

As an Asset Movement Analyst in Asset and Wealth Management, you will support the day-to-day processing of internal and external asset and collateral movements. You will review transactions for completeness and accuracy, address exceptions, and manage inquiries to ensure timely delivery and strong risk controls. You will work closely with partners across locations and teams to resolve issues and improve the client and stakeholder experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Review and approve daily collateral movements from brokerage accounts
  • Process non-managed and managed journals, including internal transfers
  • Validate transaction details and correct exceptions to reduce processing risk
  • Review and process systematic requests in line with documented procedures
  • Investigate inquiries and provide clear, timely responses to stakeholders
  • Escalate issues appropriately and track them through to resolution
  • Coordinate timely delivery of assets to external firms across domestic and international markets
  • Ensure daily cut-offs are met while maintaining accuracy and control standards
  • Document actions taken and maintain accurate records to support auditability
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements
  • Partner with colleagues to support a collaborative, inclusive working environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience processing, reviewing, or reconciling operational transactions with a strong focus on accuracy and risk control
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions using available data and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a client-focused, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to consistently meet daily cut-off deadlines and service level expectations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate exceptions and drive resolution
  • Ability to manage inquiries and handle challenging conversations in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and controls
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills, including routine calls and email correspondence with partners
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting asset servicing, collateral operations, or brokerage-related transaction processing
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines
  • Track record of identifying process gaps and contributing to operational improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a consistent focus on timely issue resolution to prevent processing delays
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and locations in a shared-ownership environment
  • Interest in continuous learning and adapting to change in a dynamic operational setting
