The Asset Strategy, Governance & Risk Team Leader is responsible for leading asset strategy, governance, risk and assurance activities for Jemena Electricity Network. The role owns and continuously improves governance frameworks and the Asset Management System, ensuring that strategy, risk, performance and investment decisions are supported by clear evidence, consistent methodologies and defensible decision-making processes.
The role acts as a key interface between asset strategy, engineering, planning and investment teams, translating asset risk, policy, standards and performance insights into quantified investment needs, options analysis and optimised portfolio programs. The team is accountable for producing high-quality governance artefacts, supporting asset management maturity, enabling transparent decision-making, and embedding a risk-based approach across the network portfolio.
