As an Asset Specialist within the Asset Services team in corporate and investment banking, you will manage risk, support capital-raising activities, and provide strategic support aligned to client needs. You will contribute to secure service solutions that help meet client requirements globally. You will grow your expertise through hands-on ownership in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end asset servicing lifecycle activities, including corporate actions and income processing
  • Execute accurate and timely processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate action payments received from agents and depositories
  • Perform supervisory checks and complete daily operational sign-offs
  • Maintain effective risk management practices across day-to-day asset services processing
  • Develop business continuity and concentration plans that align to policy expectations and operational needs
  • Test business continuity and concentration plans in accordance with policy and confirm staff familiarity with procedures
  • Coordinate issue planning and crisis review activities, providing a central point of contact during time-sensitive situations
  • Assess production process impacts and complete technical assessments within short time frames when required
  • Own issues across the Asset Services function and drive timely progress to resolution
  • Escalate material operational items to operational and risk leads to support timely decision-making

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Have 1+ years of experience in an asset servicing, custody, or similar operations environment
  • Demonstrate understanding of the asset servicing lifecycle, including corporate actions and income
  • Apply operational subject matter expertise across reconciliation, settlements, and trade support activities
  • Show experience in asset servicing, custody operations, and risk and control practices
  • Reconcile cash and stock breaks received from the market with accuracy and appropriate follow-through
  • Identify high-risk and high-value breaks and ensure they are actioned and highlighted daily
  • Prioritize workloads effectively and deliver against critical deadlines in a controlled environment
  • Sustain ownership and accountability for operational and project deliverables with a proven track record
  • Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Adapt to new markets, products, and processes through continuous learning
