Job summary

As an Asset servicing and disclosures reporting associate in the Asset servicing and disclosures reporting team, you will lead day-to-day processing across corporate actions, income events, and disclosures reporting while applying strong controls and disciplined exception management. You will provide human oversight to technology-assisted outputs, ensuring decisions are governed, evidenced, and escalated appropriately. You will help design and maintain workflows that improve efficiency and resiliency while maintaining audit-ready evidence.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute daily operational processing for mandatory corporate actions, including elections where applicable and payment processing
  • Process income events accurately and on time, including cash and stock disbursements
  • Perform record date reconciliations for income and stock events, investigate breaks, and drive resolution to closure
  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle steps for mandatory corporate actions, ensuring accurate completion of required processing stages
  • Produce, validate, and quality-check beneficial holdings disclosures reporting outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Apply independent challenge and a verify-and-escalate approach to unclear announcements, processing constraints, or higher-risk items
  • Document decisions, evidence, and outcomes in line with governance expectations and maintain audit-ready records
  • Investigate and respond to internal queries and breaks with timely, clear, control-minded explanations
  • Design and maintain workflow tools and procedures to support consistent, controlled processing, including technology-assisted workflows
  • Analyze operational data to identify root causes, recurring issues, and opportunities to strengthen controls and efficiency
  • Provide business continuity support during resiliency scenarios, including fallback support for Hong Kong market voluntary events and trade processing support as needed, and perform manual processing when workflow tools or digital solutions are unavailable (TBD: confirm scope and terminology)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in asset servicing operations, including corporate actions and/or income processing
  • Demonstrated experience executing high-accuracy, deadline-driven processing in an operations environment
  • Proven ability to investigate breaks, structure analysis, identify root cause, and drive issues to resolution
  • Strong controls orientation, including comfort operating within governance expectations and maintaining audit-ready evidence
  • Sound judgment with a consistent challenge-and-verify mindset and comfort escalating higher-risk items promptly
  • Experience performing reconciliations and resolving exceptions through clear documentation and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with partners outside the immediate team
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, work under pressure, and manage volume-driven workloads with minimal supervision
  • Data analysis skills sufficient to identify trends, exceptions, and process risks using common analytical tools (TBD: specify tools if required)
  • Ability to adapt to evolving workflows and provide human oversight to technology-assisted processing, including validation of outputs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience supporting custody markets and corporate action lifecycle processing across multiple market conventions
  • Experience with disclosures reporting and beneficial holdings reporting processes and controls
  • Experience designing, documenting, and maintaining operational workflows and standard operating procedures
  • Experience contributing to resiliency planning and executing manual fallback procedures during outages
  • Demonstrated experience improving controls and efficiency through data-driven process enhancements
  • Experience partnering with technology or change teams to implement workflow tools in an operations setting
