Job Location: Duncan Communication Bldg - Duncan, OK 73533 JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing Asset Recovery efforts including repossessions, money judgements, foreclosures, etc. Also manages aspects of the bank’s Other Real Estate portfolio, including monitoring legal processes for acquisition of properties, maintenance and liquidation, and operational support duties. This may include maintenance tasks, inspections, repairs, and general upkeep of the bank properties. Provides recommendations regarding bankruptcies, probates, foreclosures, repossessions, and other collection efforts to Asset Recovery Officer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work in conjunction with Asset Recovery Officer to manage flow of departmental day-to-day operations.
- Communicate with legal counsel to obtain, convey, and make recommendations on credits requiring legal and/or collection action.
- Manage in oversight of ORE portfolio in all phases from acquisition to liquidation.
- Assist lenders with pre-collection efforts including skiptracing and valuation of collateral.
- Prepare various reports, credit memos, and detailed documentation for audits, management, and board meetings.
- Be instrumental in helping Officer in setting and meeting departmental goals.
- Facilitate repossessions efforts on vehicles, to include communication with loan officers, initiation request to repo agent, notification to customer, identification of collateral values, filing VSI claims, removal of personal belongings, preparing credit memos, maintaining files, obtaining titles, sale of vehicles, and processing of sale transaction.
- Facilitate repossession and liquidation of other personal property as necessary, which may include equipment, inventory, livestock, etc.
- Balance specific ARD related general ledger accounts and review reports as needed.
- Research information as requested.
- Work with all other departments to maintain open communication and positive work relations.

- Manage borrower collection activity, including attendance at small claims court.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- High school diploma is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Strong verbal and written, communication and telephone skills; must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner using some legal language
- Previous banking experience in collection or lending-related areas preferred.
- Bookkeeping/Account reconcilement
- Computer proficient with skills in MS Word, Excel, E-mail and Internet
- Strong troubleshooting and research skills
- Work without direct supervision while onsite at bank owned properties and repossession facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This work requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
