In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering transport infrastructure and maintenance projects and programs to achieve Transport for NSW and Government road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives.

This role will see you develop and manage the implementation of nominated projects and programs, lead concept development and investigations, support pavement and corridor program functions, and provide technical leadership across all project phases. You’ll also deliver project services to time, cost, scope and quality requirements, manage contracts, and contribute to program performance through data review and network inspections.

You will lead effective project outcomes and improved efficiencies in a dynamic environment requiring risk management, stakeholder engagement, cross team collaboration and balancing multiple priorities to maximise whole of life asset performance.

Four roles in total, two in the south of the state and 2 in the north. South roles will be based in Wollongong or Wagga and North roles based in Graton, Newcastle, Parkes, Orange, Bathurst or Dubbo.

About you

Your broad experience in managing the development and delivery of road maintenance, safety, rehabilitation and construction projects, formed across engineering, transport or infrastructure sectors, will see you excel in delivering complex programs, overcoming project challenges and contributing to integrated whole of life asset outcomes.

You’re recognised as a technical leader and effective project and program manager, skilled at assessing data, managing contract and project risks, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and developing stakeholder and community involvement strategies.

You’re experienced in quality, WHS, risk and environmental management, the use of project management tools and techniques, and providing expert engineering guidance from concept to commissioning.
