In this role, you'll:


Work within our Maintenance Management & Project Services Team within the Road Asset & Program Services Branch of the Road Maintenance & Resilience division at Transport for NSW

The role will act as the owner of the road and is the primary decision-maker for all projects under delegated authority utilising the support within the overall pavement and corridor program team.

A key element of this role will be the involvement of the projects for Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) across the regional areas of the state and making sure the normal routine and capital maintenance programs are captured in the planning and scheduling of the work that is happening. This includes reviewing proposals from REZ providers and approving work sites and treatment to maximise whole of life asset function.

About you


Your four-year civil engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications or a related discipline, will accompany your demonstrated relevant experience in managing projects and programs in a dynamic environment.

You’re recognised for your program and planning skills and technical ability with pavements and drainage.

This will also see you bringing strong interpersonal skills and being able to manage numerous internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities.

This is an Award Transport Engineer Level 3 Temporary Fixed Term Full-Time role, initially for 24 months based in Regional NSW with a home office location of either Newcastle, Orange, Dubbo, Bathurst or Wagga with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model
