In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).

Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Asset Performance Manager is responsible for the safe production of the plants, reducing downtime and maximising production.

This includes the day-to-day activities conduction, the coordination of maintenance and logistics activities, the management of reliability topics, and the close and regular monitoring of the plants.

  • Overall production Management

    • Ensuring the whole production process is functional, both technically (reliability management, maintenance coordination, process safety) and from an organisation point of view (involving stakeholders such as plant operators, maintenance team, logistic team)

    • Ensure all Air Liquide Safety Policies and Procedures are included in the working procedures. Support the deployment of health & Safety Policies or actions defined by the HSE Manager

  • Plant Conduction

    • Oversees plant conduction made 24/7 by remote Control Room

    • Liaise with Control room manager to update 24/7 instructions on plant operating

    • Monitor production daily and take necessary corrective actions

    • Update instruction for plant operators and adapt daily instructions based on current plant status

    • Communicate to other stakeholders about plant status and action plans (customers, partners, management)

    • Ensures the regular maintenance of EIS (Elements Important for Safety)

  • Reporting

    • Produce monthly reports towards AL Organization and JV Partners

    • Correct and consolidates plants reliability data in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

    • Gathers and consolidate in databases plant technical data used for legal and environmental reporting

  • Reliability Management

    • Coordinate small projects on operational sites as deemed necessary. - Take actions or propose projects to minimise asset downtime

    • Record and present KPI to Ops Management

    • Participate to technical RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

    • Onsite intervention or assistance to supplier possible.

    • Oncall attendance

Are You a Match ?

Mechanical or Electrical or Process Eng.

Minimum 3-5 years in in Maintenance activities or Field Operations

Knowledge and skills specific

  • Knowledge of gas (LNG CNG, Biogas) - Not mandatory but considered as a plus

  • Knowledge of P&FD, P&ID, mechanical and electrical diagram, functional analyzes

  • Writing of reports and procedures

  • Knowledge of usual IT tools (Google Docs, Google Sheet, etc.) and the CMMS toolskills

  • Analytical(diagnostic aid)

  • Good knowledge (design and operation)

  • Availability for on-call duty 1 week out of 4 - Mandatory
