The opportunity
As the Asset Officer you will be working in the Central Assets Team in CSIRO Finance’s Financial Accounting and Investment branch.
The team provides specialist expertise in asset management, ensuring asset creation, changes and disposals are processed accurately and consistently in line with CSIRO policy and accounting standards.
You will work closely with Research and Enterprise Unit staff, providing clear advice and guidance, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role also offers exposure to other areas within the Financial Accounting and Investment branch.
Your high-level duties will include:

Location and office arrangements: Sydney (Marsfield), Canberra (Black Mountain) and Brisbane (Dutton Park, St Lucia and Pullenvale)
Salary: AU$76,068 - AU$96,813 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
plus, up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Specified term of 12 months
