Our current presence in Poland:
Our Baltic Power offshore wind farm is the most advanced offshore wind project in Poland and the first to have reached the construction phase. In 2023, the project received a final investment decision (FID) as well as financing from 25 international institutions. Both onshore and offshore installations are underway at the moment. Baltic Power will be among the world’s first projects to install 15 MW wind turbines and the first Polish offshore wind farm operating in the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Power farm will be able to cover 3% of the national electricity demand, which stands for the energy needs of over 1,5 million households in Poland.

The Role:
The Asset Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all Asset Management activities for the Baltic Power project (BLP) during the operational phase. This role acts as a central interface across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that revenue streams, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements are met while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability. This position includes the leadership of a team with responsibilities spanning Performance Management, Contract and Claim Management, and Risk Management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take overall ownership of Asset Management activities for Baltic Power operations, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the central coordination point across technical, commercial, and strategic functions, monitoring key operational metrics and supporting risk and opportunity management.
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making by the Managing Directors.
  • Lead and support a team responsible for Performance Management, Contract and Claims Management, and Risk Management, fostering effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Asset Management processes, systems, training materials, and reporting requirements for the operational phase.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Asset Management-related reporting to shareholders, lenders, authorities, and other key stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent communication on operational performance, risks, obligations, and key developments.
  • Lead, develop, and support the BLP Asset Management team, providing clear direction, guidance, and day-to-day support to ensure effective delivery across all Asset Management activities.
  • Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and O&M contractors on Asset Management priorities, operational requirements, and emerging issues, acting as a bridge between senior management and operational teams to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure Asset Management requirements are embedded in operational processes, procedures, governance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operational phase.
  • Oversee contractor and stakeholder activities to ensure compliance with relevant contractual and regulatory frameworks, including BLP, TSO, PPA, WTG SMA, BoP SMA, authority requirements, claims management, and warranty obligations.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on the technical and commercial performance of the offshore wind farm, identifying trends, deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities to support reliable and efficient operations.
  • Support business planning, budgeting, and strategic project development by providing Asset Management insights, performance data, operational assumptions, and recommendations for short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
  • Lead Risk and Opportunity Management processes, including the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks and opportunities, while providing relevant input to OPEX planning and budgeting.
  • Prepare, compile, and align daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Asset Management reports for internal and external audiences, including lenders, authorities, board members, and other governance bodies, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy across all reporting deliverables.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in Engineering or Business
  • Significant experience in a similar role managing power generation assets ideally offshore wind
  • Project management experience
  • Team Leadership experience
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
