Our client is a leading asset management company in Thailand.

Role purpose:

The Asset Manager Lead will be responsible for managing the portfolio of real‐estate and secured assets, particularly foreclosed, distressed or repossessed properties.

This role requires expertise in real‐estate litigation, asset recovery and value enhancement. You will lead asset management operations ensuring assets are optimised, disposed of/integrated into sale pipelines, and that recovery strategies are robust and executable.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, motivate and coach a team of asset managers to achieve the optimum recovery, on the assigned asset portfolio
• Review asset resolution processes and procedures and create new, creative methods of increasing loan collections
• Develop asset manager incentives to drive the borrower resolution process
• Engage in the entire loan workout process, from in-depth analysis on assets, to assisting the AM in interviewing and negotiating with the borrowers
• Perform financial and cashflow analysis, and assess collateral valuation, to determine appropriate resolutions
• Follow-up on the litigation process, that would facilitate bringing borrowers back to negotiate settlements
• Submit and present cases to senior management/investment committee for approval
• Conduct reviews of assets to determine status vs business plan and/or approved settlements
• Assist in due diligence of new portfolio acquisitions as required
• Part of Asset Valuation Committee

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree is preferred
• 10-15 years of NPL mortgage loan and/or individual lending experience
• Experience with loan origination, analysis or NPL workout.
• Knowledge of asset valuation is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, motivation and analytical skill.
• Good coaching skills and team lead skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
