• Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight includes RDO
• $91,155pa + 12% super (level 4)
• 72.5 hour fortnight
• Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
• Location: Strathpine, with onsite parking and close to train station

Join City of Moreton Bay as an Asset Management Systems Officer and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As an Asset Management Systems Officer, you’ll play a key part in improving the quality, accuracy and usability of Council’s asset data and systems.

You will identify opportunities to streamline business processes, undertake asset data improvement activities, and provide technical advice on asset information and systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, you’ll help ensure Council’s asset data supports effective planning, decision-making and lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Streamline business processes through data transformation, translation and ETL processes, using tools such as FME and complementary programming languages
• Administer corporate asset management systems, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date asset records
• Analyse asset data and provide technical advice to stakeholders on asset systems and information
• Assist in the development, operation and ongoing improvement of asset lifecycle models
• Document and maintain lifecycle modelling processes and procedures
• Support the development and implementation of asset data collection procedures

About you

You are detail-oriented, analytical and enjoy working with complex data sets and systems. You bring a strong understanding of asset management principles and enjoy finding ways to improve processes and data quality.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Sound experience in asset systems management, with a focus on improving business processes
• Understanding of asset management principles, including lifecycle modelling
• Strong data analysis skills, including reporting and dashboarding
• Experience using a range of data and asset systems, including GIS for mapping asset attributes
• Ability to read and interpret design and as-constructed civil construction plans
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
