Asset Management Specialist (IDC / Data Center)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide 5×8 on-site support at the IDC in accordance with customer requirements, and be available for emergency on-call or on-site support outside business hours when required.
  2. Strictly comply with asset management policies, compliance red lines, and customer legal and integrity requirements Ensure all processes are lawful and compliant, with no unauthorized labeling, coding, misreporting, or violations
  3. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for personnel access control and asset entry/exit registration within the warehouse and data center.
  4. Proficient in asset management systems and platforms Execute work orders in line with SLA requirements, ensuring timely responses and high accuracy of asset data. Actively propose process improvements for asset management and work order handling.
  5. Familiar with IDC environments and asset safety standards Manage asset storage, transportation, entry/exit, and scrapping strictly according to SOPs to prevent asset damage. Propose optimization measures for environmental safety and asset protection.
  6. Conduct full lifecycle asset inventory within the data center, ensuring 100% accuracy of asset records, including location, serial number, model, and status. Use asset management tools and related software for data retrieval, analysis, and anomaly detection

Education Requirements

  • Degree: Associate degree (full-time) or above, or equivalent
  • Major: Related fields (IT, electronics, logistics, asset management, or similar)

Work Experience & Skills

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years in asset, warehouse, or data center management
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with common data center equipment (servers, switches, etc.)
    • Knowledge of parts and consumables (optical modules, interface cards, fiber optics)
    • Experience in warehouse operations, including environmental controls (dust, humidity, dampness prevention)
  • Work Style: Proactive problem identification and resolution mindset

Language Requirements

  • Local language + Chinese (spoken and written)
