
The Global Special Situations (GSS) is continuing its growth expansion and is seeking additional staff to support its rising AUM and rising investment activities.
Special Situations Deal Co-ordination is a dynamic role which will be primarily responsible for the management of the open deal population and the ongoing maintenance of the investments within the funds. The funds are engaged in a variety of investment products, including syndicated loans, distressed loans and claims, equity (listed and private). The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate deals throughout their life cycle including: pre-investment committee Governance and Operational analysis; conflict of interest evaluations; SPV decision support; deal execution support, recording and subsequent enrichment; complex loan documentation coordination; counterparty coordination; financing coordination; operation of applicable hedging programs; deal hand-off to third party fund administrator and third party middle office functions as applicable; oversight of settlement, servicing and corporate actions; ongoing monitoring and lifecycle management of deals; maintenance of deal and market data; market quote co-ordination and other elements of coordination to the quarter end valuation and NAV processes; TPT analysis; coordination of control and regulatory reporting in relation to the portfolios; and management support of the multitude of operating legal entities and structures.
The role is expected to include the other tasks, responsibilities and cross-training as determined by GSS management from time to time in support of GSS business activities.
