Job Description

The Swiss based institutional client advisor team has a need for a sales support. The preferred candidate will be required to work closely with the client advisors to help build and sustain client relationships within the institutional business of JPMAM. The group is responsible for offering advice on all JPMAM strategies (segregated mandates and pooled funds). The target market includes the largest pension funds and insurance companies headquartered in Switzerland. The 50% work time should be 2.5 days each week in the office (except for vacation or exams periods).

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with client advisors to support all facets of the sales and business development process
  • Assist the sales team in maintaining prospect and client databases, ensure that critical client information is stored in the CRM Tool and kept up to date
  • Coordinate with product teams on client presentations, portfolio reviews and ongoing relationship management efforts
  • Partner with local marketing team on client events
  • Understand the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements
  • Support the team in the Request For Proposal (RFP) Process
  • General ad-hoc admin support for the sales team

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Interest in Asset Management industry and investment funds
  • Languages – Fluency in German or French and English is absolutely necessary; 2nd national language would be an asset
  • Self-starting team player, highly motivated and hardworking
  • Eager to learn and proactive in identifying areas where support is needed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Software and database skills – Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in a client-servicing role
