
We are seeking a hands-on Vice President to join our Global Alternative Investment Solutions Operational Due Diligence (ODD) team focused on private credit investments. The role will be responsible for leading and executing initial and ongoing operational due diligence of private credit investment managers, with additional focus on assessing private credit secondary investments. In addition, the candidate is expected to contribute to selected projects aimed at ensuring our ODD program remains cutting edge and serve to strengthen and evolve our ODD framework, knowledge base, and the client-facing articulation of our program. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with investment, operations/finance, risk, legal and product structuring teams while maintaining independent judgment on manager operational risks, concerns, and sustainability practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
The following qualifications reflect the experience and “partner mindset” needed for this position.
Ability to apply experience across a broad spectrum of alternative investment managers and operating environments to assess operational risks and relevant sustainability factors, identify concerns and form independent conclusions.
Knowledge of global capital markets and the factors driving those markets.
Demonstrated strength in external client engagement, including communicating with sophisticated investors in one-on-one and group settings; viewed as a thought leader and value-add partner (not a “check-the-box” reviewer).
Confidence and poise to interview senior investment manager counterparts (e.g., COO, CFO, Head of Operations, CCO) and to build/maintain strong internal and external relationships, including managers, third-party service providers, related vendors and industry peer groups.

The candidate will be based in New York and will report to the JPMorgan Alternative Solutions Group - Head of Operational Risk.
