As an Associate in the APAC Fee Billing team, you will be responsible for invoicing institutional clients for our investment management services and be an integral part of our broader Taiwan Operations. You will part of the team that is responsible for charging fees for both management and performance on a variety of financial services and instruments, such as investment funds. Your team in Taiwan oversees fee billing matters for all APAC institutional clients, serving a diverse client base across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and interacts with the Japan team that does billing for Japan clients.
Job Responsibilities
· Review client agreements as it pertains to fee calculation methods, provide input to client service to negotiate with the client
· Support the calculation of management and performance fees based on client agreements
· Assist in generating and delivering invoices to clients in a timely manner
· Ensure invoices are accurate and include all necessary details
· Connect with fee billing teams in US and Japan to ensure alignment and consistency
· Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate controls are in place
· Monitor and control day to day fee billing operations to ensure compliance with business
· Undertake projects supporting new business initiatives and regulatory requirements, development of services, system testing and handling workflow when required
· Drive ongoing efficiency and to participate in initiatives by optimizing, managing and maintaining operational processes, and building out related technology requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
· Minimum 5 years relevant working experience within financial services industry
· Great attention to details with good problem solving skill
· Ability to network with internal stakeholder community to foster relationships across functions and/or locations
· Willing to accept challenges and changes - a highly adaptive individual who embraces cross-functional rotations
· Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
· Bachelor degree or above preferred
· Japanese language skill is a plus, but not required
