Asset Management Associate

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record, verify and execute transactions according to process documentation.
• Responsible for timely and accurate processing of specific accounting transactions according to standard process documentation.
• Use of existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
• Comply with accounting standards, policies and procedures.
• Coordination with LE and/or External customers/vendors according to a structured process.
• Prepare and maintain reports as per scope and/or as requested.
• Ensure and follow up Issues in Asset Accounting area.
• Act as Company Responsible and being main contact person for Asset Accounting operational related topics for dedicated Legal Entity, including responsibility for FO/AccP colaboration calls.

WHO YOU ARE

• Acccounting technician (Mandatory).
• Accounting, Finance or related career university student with at least 50% completed (Desirable).
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
• Intermediate - Advanced English proficiency.
• Advanced Portuguese proficiency (Mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of Finance systems and procedures both at a corporate level and a country/international level would be beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of global Bayer accounting and controlling standards and reporting requirements, accounting processes, internal controls and controlling concepts as well as local and global accounting policies (IFRS, local GAAP) would be beneficial.
• Ability to work successfully with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
