Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager in NZ to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring the effective stewardship, compliance and performance of critical assets within a custodial correctional environment. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support safe, secure and essential public services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Managing asset registers, lifecycle planning and asset performance to ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

• Partnering closely with operational teams and client stakeholders to support asset strategies within a live custodial correctional environment.

• Coordinating asset inspections, audits and reporting to maintain safety, reliability and service continuity.

• Supporting capital works planning, renewals and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contributing to a culture of collaboration, accountability and care across the contract.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in asset management, facilities management or infrastructure environments, ideally within complex or regulated settings.

• A strong understanding of asset lifecycle principles, compliance obligations and performance reporting.

• The confidence to work respectfully and professionally within a custodial correctional environment, with a strong focus on safety and integrity.

• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

• A proactive mindset, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
