Job Description

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking an Asset Lead for a proposal effort supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Unclassified Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) program in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Overview

The Asset Lead will oversee IT asset management activities supporting the F-35 JPO's unclassified IT environment. This role will manage hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate asset accountability, and support operational readiness. The Asset Lead will work closely with government stakeholders, service desk personnel, technical teams, and procurement staff to ensure assets are properly tracked, maintained, and available to support mission requirements.

Job Duties

  • Lead daily IT asset management operations, including receiving, inventorying, tagging, assigning, tracking, transferring, and retiring assets.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records, including ownership, location, configuration, lifecycle status, warranty coverage, and licensing information.
  • Coordinate equipment deployment, refresh, reassignment, recovery, and disposition with service desk and technical support teams.
  • Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and equipment holdings.
  • Track government-furnished equipment and support property accountability, custody documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee software license tracking and support compliance reviews, renewal planning, and identification of unused or duplicate licenses.
  • Develop and maintain asset management procedures, work instructions, inventory controls, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide asset status reports, inventory metrics, lifecycle forecasts, and recommendations to program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Support procurement planning by identifying equipment requirements, replacement needs, and opportunities to improve asset utilization.
  • Coordinate asset recovery during personnel departures, equipment exchanges, and organizational changes.
  • Work with cybersecurity and technical teams to support approved sanitization and disposal processes.
  • Guide asset management personnel, prioritize work, monitor performance, and resolve inventory or accountability issues.
  • Coordinate asset management with configuration management, infrastructure management, help desk operations, system analysis, and infrastructure assessments to maintain accurate asset records and support enterprise seat management.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 12 years of relevant experience, consistent with the ITES bachelor's-degree substitution for the Seat Management Administrator Senior/Lead labor category.
  • Experience supporting configuration management, infrastructure management, asset management, help desk operations, system analysis, and infrastructure assessment.
  • Technical expertise in system/processor architecture, wired for management baseline, desktop management interface, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), client/server architecture, operating systems, software applications, network protocols, routers, switches, remote access servers, and firewalls, as required for seat management tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing IT hardware and software assets in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience maintaining asset inventories, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting equipment accountability throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Experience using IT asset management tools, inventory databases, or IT service management platforms.
  • Experience coordinating asset activities with technical teams, procurement personnel, and customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop procedures, maintain accurate records, and prepare inventory and management reports.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel for inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and report onsite in Arlington, VA, as required by the program.
