Job Description

  • Full time, ongoing position
  • Salary starting at $79,873 plus 16% Superannuation

Join Evoenergy’s Network Services team as an Asset Inspector, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of the electrical network. This hands-on role involves inspecting poles and powerlines, ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards, and accurately recording inspection data using Cityworks. Working closely with team members, you’ll help drive safe work practices, support network performance, and contribute to the efficient delivery of essential services to the community.

Key responsibilities;

  • Conduct routine inspections of poles, powerlines, and associated network assets.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Identify, document, and report asset defects and network risks to support asset maintenance and reliability.
  • Accurately record inspection outcomes and maintain data within the Cityworks works management system.
  • Collaborate with team members and utilise digital technologies to improve operational performance and workplace efficiencies.

Our ideal candidate:

  • UET20621 Certificate II in ESI – Asset Inspection completed or currently being undertaken.
  • OH&S General Induction Card
  • ACT Driver’s Licence or equivalent. Experience
  • Demonstrates initiative, acts with confidence and generates appropriate activity
  • Demonstrates resilience in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of vegetation clearance requirements
  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
