About the role
Reporting to the Asset Inspection Team Manager, the Asset Inspector is responsible for undertaking the inspection and assessment of power poles and associated overhead assets across the CitiPower and Powercor network. Inspections must be carried out with a high degree of accuracy, as the Asset Inspector is responsible for identifying and categorising faults, defects, asset conditions, and asset details that contribute to the organisation's work programs and asset management systems.
We currently have multiple opportunities available, with positions based in either Brooklyn or Burnley
We are seeking individuals with strong attention to detail who are comfortable working independently and delivering high-quality outcomes. The role requires regular travel within the designated area across metropolitan and regional Victoria, conducting inspections and ensuring the ongoing safety and reliability of network assets.
This position is covered by the Electrix Pty Ltd & ETU Powerline Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026 The salary range for this role is Level 3 ($61.87/hourly rate) + 13% of super + allowances.
