We’re looking for an Asset Engineer to join our Transportation team and help plan the work that keeps Tauranga’s roads safe, reliable, and performing well.
In this role, you’ll use asset information, condition assessments and your practical knowledge of road maintenance to help develop maintenance and renewal programmes. You’ll review data, assess the network on site, and make sure our work programmes are based on accurate information and deliver the right outcomes for the city.
You’ll also provide technical advice, support the management of road construction and maintenance contracts, and help allocate budgets across planned work. It’s a varied role where you can combine technical thinking with practical problem-solving and see how your work directly supports Tauranga’s transport network.
