
Pay Range: $21.23 to $22.86 hourly | 100% Onsite (Durant, OK) | Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-4:30PM | Labor Day Required
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Choctaw Nation through inventory control of its fixed assets including equipment location and tagging, data entry and related property control responsibilities. You will report to the Senior Asset Coordinator.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will schedule and conduct physical inventories with each program and department annually.
2. Recommend improvements, adaptations or revisions to inventory procedures and reporting.
3. Report losses for follow up by law enforcement and accounting staff.
4. Respond to audit inquiries relating to physical identification/location of new assets.
5. You will identify, tag and enter fixed assets into system.
6. Research fair market value to establish basis for property received as surplus equipment or donations.
7. Tour newly constructed facilities for equipment identification.
8. Work with all departments to communicate that all Fixed Asset procedures are being followed.
9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
· A High School Diploma or GED
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Basic data entry skills
· General office skills
· Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
· Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
· Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
· One (1) year experience with understanding of capital vs expense guidelines
