Thales is looking for an Asset & Configuration Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of all IT assets within our portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking, maintaining and optimizing IT hardware, software, support and licences and crypto assets to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will be part of a team of engineers delivering secure communications who identify and resolve infrastructure issues, minimize downtime, and maintain high service availability and quality of service.

We operate through three portfolios which support key strategic growth areas. This role is within the Sovereign Cybersecurity and Technology (SCT) portfolio. Thales provides comprehensive solutions to secure data, ensuring strict control over network communications. Designed in accordance with stringent government standards and based on a cybersecurity-by-design approach, its products deliver high-level protection throughout the data lifecycle. Our expertise and experience allow us to assist sovereign clients in designing and integrating complex, innovative, secure, and resilient systems and platforms.

Skills and Experience
Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
