We’re looking for a thoughtful and collaborative Asset Class Manager – Distribution & Capacity to join our Planning & Optimisation team. This role offers the opportunity to influence the long-term performance, resilience, and safety of critical gas distribution infrastructure while working alongside passionate people across engineering, operations, and network planning.
About the Role
Reporting to the Planning & Optimisation Manager, you will lead the medium to long-term strategy and planning for Jemena’s Distribution Asset Class, including AS4645 distribution assets, while also providing network capacity support across all asset classes.
This role combines strategic asset management, technical problem-solving, collaboration, and people leadership. You’ll help balance network safety, reliability, capacity, integrity, sustainability, and investment outcomes to support the long-term needs of customers and communities.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop practical, data-informed solutions that strengthen network performance and resilience.

About You

Experience & Strengths
Experience with gas networks, regulatory frameworks, or the Sydney Short Term Trading Market will be highly regarded but is not essential.
