Job Description

As an Analyst in the Asset Servicing and Proxy Voting team within Securities Services, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex voluntary corporate actions and support oversight of proxy voting services across Asia-Pacific markets. You will partner with internal teams and service providers to deliver accurate, timely outcomes for clients while identifying and reducing operational risk. You will help strengthen controls, improve processes, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and strong client experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Process high-risk, complex voluntary corporate action events from announcement through completion.
  • Reconcile client instructions and resolve breaks through timely investigation and escalation.
  • Complete daily controls, checks, instruction processing, and query management with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate proxy voting data and meeting information received from vendors to ensure accurate client communications.
  • Escalate issues to vendors and internal partners when exceptions, data gaps, or risks are identified.
  • Maintain evidence of processing, controls, and issue resolution in accordance with operational standards.
  • Support oversight and governance activities for proxy voting services, including monitoring quality and issue trends.
  • Collaborate with regional processing teams, product partners, and client-facing teams to deliver consistent service outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen the operating environment.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability and client experience.
  • Act as a point of contact for corporate actions and proxy-related queries to drive timely resolution for stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services operations, including hands-on processing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting corporate actions and/or asset servicing operational workflows.
  • Ability to apply controls, validate inputs, and identify exceptions with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to assess issues, risks, and required actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain operational risks, issues, and resolutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver accurate outcomes under deadlines.
  • Experience working in a control-focused environment with a track record of supporting risk reduction.
  • Ability to learn, document, and implement new processes efficiently in a changing environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting proxy voting operations and/or proxy oversight activities.
  • Experience performing user acceptance testing for new or enhanced operational applications/tools.
  • Knowledge of Asia-Pacific market practices related to corporate actions and post-trade processing.
  • Experience participating in process change initiatives and operational improvement delivery.
