Purpose of role:
The SME – Asset Accounting will act as the process owner and technical expert across Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting (IFRS 16). The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording financial reporting, strong controls, effective stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement while supporting operational teams and driving performance excellence while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
The Asset Accounting Senior Analyst is also responsible for supervising and monitoring a team to deliver Fixed Asset and Lease accounting and reporting services.
The role entails ample opportunities and requires working with senior stakeholders across BP’s FBT teams, liaise up with BP-wide finance and control teams!
