Support financial accounting and control activities across the organisation. You will contribute to enterprise-wide asset accounting, financial reporting and compliance, including statutory reporting for fixed assets participating in the preparation of asset related disclosures for statutory reporting in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and NSW Treasury requirements.
You will be responsible for reporting reliable asset information and driving accuracy across asset accounting processes in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and strict reporting deadlines. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, you will contribute to annual asset valuations, support the organizational wide stocktake of operating assets, ensure compliant reconciliations and asset reporting activities that support informed decision-making and effective financial management.

You are a capable and collaborative accounting professional with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Your experience in a complex diverse accounting portfolio or in a professional environment enables you to interpret financial information, maintain asset data integrity, investigate discrepancies and deliver accurate, timely and well-supported outcomes.
You have demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing reconciliations, applying accounting policies and requirements, and providing practical advice to stakeholders. You exercise sound judgement, take ownership of your work and can manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
