As the central point of contact between project delivery partners and asset teams, you'll lead the asset acceptance process from planning through to final submission, ensuring all asset information meets Transport standards and requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the key interface between delivery partners and asset stewards for road infrastructure projects, leading complex consultation and negotiation activities.
  • Develop and manage asset data collection schedules, monitoring key milestones and ensuring timely submissions into corporate systems.
  • Assess and review asset information, approving or rejecting submissions based on quality, completeness, accuracy and compliance requirements.
  • Resolve data discrepancies and manage escalations to ensure project delivery timeframes are achieved.

This is a Fixed Term position available up to 30/06/2028 based in North Zone and can be located in (Grafton, Newcastle or Parkes) office locations.

About you

You'll bring a strong understanding of asset data management and a proven ability to build productive relationships across a diverse stakeholder environment.

You'll also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in field and desk-based asset data collection methodologies.
  • Qualifications in Asset Management, Information Technology, Engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of asset data management practices, with the ability to drive data integrity, governance and compliance outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of influencing, negotiating and delivering collaborative solutions.
  • A current and unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours when required.

Knowledge of Road acts/regulations in road reserves and governance requirements for road asset acceptance processes will be beneficial for this role
