Location: Strathfield

Temporary Part Time until 30 June 2027 (2 days per week/14 hours)

$103,956 salary package - includes base salary $91,590 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

About the role

We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Community Services students by joining our team of Assessors at TAFE Digital, Strathfield. This is a temporary part-time opportunity, working 2 days per week (14 hours per week).

An Assessor is a rewarding and dynamic educational role in the most celebrated education institution in NSW. You’ll collaborate with experienced Teachers and Head Teachers to conduct independent assessments, implement assessment strategies, and identify areas where students may need extra support.

Success in this role means being confident with digital tools, managing technology effectively, and using adaptive communication skills to connect with learners online.

You will be committed to keeping industry relevant and current in your community services knowledge to ensure you students are prepared to meet the demands of this ever-evolving vocation.

Note: This role does not teach or deliver training.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

1. Hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification or a higher education qualification in Community Services, Mental Health, Counselling, Social Science or Disability
2. Have a min imum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
