The Royal
Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for
training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa
New Zealand. The College is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC)
and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical
education and training, and professional development programs. The College is

About the role

Full-time fixed term |
Until May 2027 | Naarm (Melbourne) (Hybrid)

This is a key role supporting the delivery and ongoing
development of RANZCP assessments. Working closely with the Senior Manager,
Assessments, and the broader Education team, you will help ensure assessments
are delivered smoothly, fairly and in line with governance requirements.

You will play an important role in supporting the transition
to workplace-based assessments, while working closely with internal teams,
committees and external stakeholders including Directors of Training and
Fellows.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate and deliver assessment processes,
    including scheduling, administration and results reporting
  • ·Support the implementation of workplace-based
    assessments across training environments
  • Maintain accurate and secure assessment
    records and data
  • Monitor assessment delivery, identify risks,
    and support quality assurance processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of
    assessment systems, processes and policies
  • Support committees and working groups,
    including preparing papers, reports and briefings
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to resolve
    queries and ensure smooth delivery of assessments
  • Assist with systems, databases and process
    improvements to support enrolments and results
  • Provide supervision and guidance to staff
    involved in assessment administration

What you'll bring

  • Strong administrative and coordination
    experience, ideally within assessments, education or a related environment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and
    meet deadlines in a structured and organised way
  • Experience working both independently and
    collaboratively, including in a coordinating or supervisory capacity
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to
    quality assurance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder
    engagement skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and
    commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS
    Office and experience working with databases
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or
    valid Australian work rights

Desirable

  • Experience in a tertiary, education or
    membership organisation environment
