About the Role
As our Recruitment Bus Driver Assessment Centre Coordinator, you will own theend‑to‑endcoordination of bus driver assessment activity — before, during and after each Assessment Centre.You’llbe the friendly, reassuring voice candidates first hear, the welcoming face they meet on the day, and the trusted point of contact guiding them through to induction and start date.
By attending every Bus Driver Assessment Centre in person,you’llensure a consistently positive, professional candidate experience while driving strong attendance, smoothdeliveryand fully compliant onboarding
WhatYou’llBe Doing
Engage with candidates ahead of Assessment Centres, conductingattendance‑checkand confirmation calls to reconfirm timings,locationsand requirements
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout their assessment and onboarding journey
Attend Assessment Centres in person, providing a warm welcome and setting clear expectations for the day
Coordinate candidates through all assessment activities,including, Literacy testing, Drug & alcohol testing, practical drivingassessmentand medicals
Work closely with assessors,trainersand medical teams to ensure each centre runs smoothly, efficiently and to schedule
Support candidatespost‑assessment, communicating outcomes and guiding successful applicants through onboarding
Check,chaseand update DTS activity to keep candidate progress on track
Collate and manage returned DVLA bus driver licences
Collect,validateand organise all compliance documentation, includingright‑to‑workchecks, licences, medicalresultsand assessment notes
Ensure full compliance andat all times
Keep candidates engaged through regularcheck‑incalls, coordinating inductions and start dates
Provide regular updates,attendanceand pass data to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner
Work collaboratively with the Training School to coordinate Assessment Centres and review outcomes

Must have Full UK Driving Licence
