Reporting to the Director of Assessment, the Assessment Analyst advances university assessment efforts, including efforts of both academic programs and administrative units, to support a culture of continuous improvement. To accomplish this, the analyst will work with the Director to serve as an assessment resource for faculty and staff across the university (i.e. educating about developing and identifying objectives, available and appropriate assessment methods, and using the results of the assessments to inform future practices) and will maintain the university academic program and administrative unit electronic assessment records.
With the guidance of the Director, the analyst will be responsible for additional data collection efforts including survey design and administration and survey result analysis. The analyst will follow data collection and validation with appropriate analysis of results and the development of materials to communicate those results in meaningful ways to multiple audiences through summary reports, visualizations, and online interactive data tools. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for managing the university course evaluation process and the faculty activity reporting system.
