Position Assembly/Repair Technician | Test Bench Technician

Tasks:
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies and devices in accordance with assembly instructions, drawings and bills of materials
- Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
- Timely processing and reporting of production orders
- Troubleshooting simple electronic assemblies/devices using
circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, for both new and existing equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP - Manufacture of test cables in accordance with assembly instructions, changeover instructions, drawings and bills of materials
- Modification of PCBs in accordance with assembly instructions, changeover instructions, drawings and bills of materials
- Recording your own work to document results, e.g. preparing production, test and findings reports
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Professional experience in the assembly of electronic assemblies
- A good knowledge of German
- Basic knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Several years' professional experience in the assembly of electronic sub-assemblies
- Proficiency in SMD and THT soldering techniques
- A goal-oriented approach to work, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- A high degree of care, precision and quality awareness
- Proficiency in the use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
Test Lab Technician (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Equipment testing & assessment: Carrying out functional tests on customer-specific systems, returned items and modernised electronic devices.
- Fault analysis: Systematic troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment failures and malfunctions down to component level, using modern measuring and testing equipment.
- Repair & Modification: Professional repair, replacement of components, and carrying out upgrades and modifications to customer equipment in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Documentation: Comprehensive preparation of findings reports, repair logs and test certificates in the SAP system, as well as maintaining the equipment history.
Your Profile:
- Qualifications: Successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (m/f/d) for Equipment and Systems, a Communications Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification in electrical engineering.
- Experience: Substantial professional experience in a test laboratory or technical service department, ideally in a highly regulated environment (e.g. aviation, medical technology or defence technology).
Skills:
- Confident handling of circuit diagrams, technical documentation and common measuring instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, etc.). An affinity for IT and software-supported test benches is an advantage.
- Working style: A structured, independent approach to work, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility for the reliability of safety-critical systems.
