Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn $56K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.

The Assembly Workeris responsible forassembling products according to specifications and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Assemble components according to engineering specifications.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products.

• Configure jigs

• Tack welds or clamps parts into position

• Conduct quality checks on assembled products.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Adhere to safety protocols.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance.Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessaryOn the job training provided

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.

• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

• Constantly thinking and processing information.

• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.

• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.

• Use of personal protection equipment is required

Anticipated Pay Range

$20 / Hour + $2 Shift Differential overtime and weekly production bonuses
