Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II - 3rd Shift to join our team in Greenwood, SC!
The core hours are 11:30 pm - 7:30 am, M-F.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour + $1 per hour shift premium.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The Assembler II will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies.
They will execute all required tasks including but not limited to Assembler I roles (Flex and Lean) and assembly machine operation. PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label making, quality checks, and material transactions in AS400.
In this function you will:
• May be required to have or complete QEW certification to perform electrical tests on assemblies.
• Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust or repair assemblies.
• Use layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk and paint material as required.
• Apply identification labeling on completed assemblies as required.
• Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to initiate the assembly process.
• Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage, as appropriate during the final assembly process.
• Comply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRA’s.
• Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets.
• Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Comply with written or oral instruction from supervisor.
• Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembling.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks in other positions as needed.

• Able to work independently with minimum direction.
