What You'll Do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pump Assembly Technician to assemble, test, and ensure the quality of industrial pumps. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, precision assembly skills, and adherence to safety and industry standards. The technician will work closely with engineering and quality teams to meet production goals and deliver reliable, high-performance products. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving abilities, experience with assembly tools and equipment, and a commitment to quality and excellence in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble pump components accurately and efficiently according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of assembled pumps to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational functionality.
  • Maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment to guarantee precision in all assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve assembly issues promptly.
  • Document assembly procedures, test results, and any deviations encountered during the manufacturing process.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and recommend improvements to enhance operational safety.
  • Participate in continuous training and development programs to stay updated on new technologies and assembly techniques.

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience (yrs):

1- 2 years in assembly environment with troubleshooting (Welding Experience is a Plus)

Other Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a pump assembly technician or in a similar mechanical assembly role within the machinery industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical components, assembly methods, and precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to machinery assembly and operation.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
