About the job
As an Assembly Mechanic Trainee, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting our Tank Cleaning Production Department. This position is essential in helping us deliver high-quality new tank cleaning equipment and repair services. You’ll learn and grow as part of a collaborative team while contributing to both new product assembly and repair operations.
As part of the team, you will:
Disassemble and clean incoming equipment for repairs.
Inspect and replace worn parts as needed.
Document repair work and complete required reports.
Assemble and test new tank cleaning machines according to product standards.
Conduct performance tests on repaired and new units.
Package and prepare equipment and spare parts for shipping.
Assist with inventory by picking and stocking parts.
Follow production work orders and meet productivity targets.
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including routine cleaning tasks.
What you know:
You have a High School Diploma or equivalency, and:
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Previous experience requiring a mechanical skillset, such as small engine repair or assembly is highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience with hand tools (ex: ratchets, socket wrenches, screw drivers etc.).
Forklift experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills for completing reports and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
