  • VASS6 Compliance: Review construction statuses and control concepts to ensure 100% alignment with VASS V6 standards.​
  • Commissioning: (VIBN): Support virtual and physical commissioning for new and existing systems based on established programming logic.​
  • Technical Examination: Audit hardware plans, control cabinet structures, PLC logic, and robot archives using provided testing tools.​
  • SDMS & Fastening: Manage the SDMS system functionality, coordinating the integration of fastening tools and automated stations.​
  • Interface Mapping: Support data/signal mapping between equipment and plant systems (SCADA/MES), including error handling and diagnostics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Automotive design engineer, Industrial engineer, Mechanical engineer or related​ field of study
  • Technical Expert-level knowledge of VASS6, PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal), and Industrial Robotics.​
  • System Knowledge: High proficiency in SDMS systems and plant control architecture.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in automotive final assembly automation.​
  • Languages: English (Fluent); German (Native or highly proficient) is preferred due to the VASS standard origin.
  • English B2-C1 ​
  • German A2 (desirable)​
  • 6 month temporary contract in Blythewood, SC ​
