The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 per hour. The hours for this shift are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.

Eaton’s Electrical Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Assembler (Stacker) – 2nd Shift to join our team! The hourly rate starts at $24.45/hour, depending on experience + $2.50 shift premium. The core hours are 3pm – 11pm, Monday-Friday; Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position is based at our Lincoln Avenue facility in Waukesha, WI.
This position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding.

• Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment.

Assemble Coils, Steel Cores, and Clamps to initiate the building process for Transformers. Sets up stack tables for proper dimensions, and stacks steel according to specifications. The stacker also welds core clamp assemblies in place.
In this function you will:
• Follows bills of material required for core steel assemblies to be cut.
• Closely monitor automatic shearing of steel while simultaneously stacking on stack table.
• Monitor core steel for burr level, correct sizing, and proper stacking.
• Set up fixture on the stacking tables for proper high precision core alignment.
• Stack the main core and up-ends completed unit onto a roller cart.
• Install coils and insulation into main core and stack top yoke.
• Assemble and weld core clamps into position.
• Move materials and completed assemblies using a forklift and overhead crane as required.
• Review for the quality level of edge burrs. Decide on when to change blades and schedule work with the supervisor.
• Maintain awareness of steel slit edge burr.
• Watch for waviness of steel after shearing. Identify reasons for steel slit edge waviness (possible bad bearing or defective core steel). Inform supervisor when problems occur. Work with supervisor and maintenance to resolve the problem.
• Operate and set up stacking table, tilt table, and base plate.
• Completes proper core lacing.
• Install top and bottom clamp with end plates.
• Operate horizontal shear and vertical band saw.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have a High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience.
Position Criteria:
• Ability to use electronic measuring devices.
• Ability to operate machines and manual assembly
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
