The Assembler - Mechanical III plays a key role in supporting manufacturing excellence by assembling electro-mechanical components and subassemblies with precision and accuracy. This role ensures products are built according to documented processes and Bills of Material (BOM), while performing testing activities to meet customer and engineering requirements. By utilizing mechanical aptitude, assembly expertise, and attention to detail, the Assembler contributes to delivering high-quality products that meet Baker Hughes' standards for safety, reliability, and performance.

As an Assembler - Mechanical III, You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Assembling electro-mechanical components and subassemblies in accordance with documented procedures and Bills of Material (BOM).

  • Performing functional testing of assemblies according to customer specifications and engineering requirements.

  • Utilizing hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete assembly operations.

  • Conducting soldering activities on small components while maintaining workmanship and quality standards.

  • Inspecting assembled parts and products to verify compliance with quality requirements and specifications.

  • Troubleshooting assembly issues and supporting corrective actions to achieve production goals.

  • Maintaining accurate production records and documentation throughout the assembly process.

  • Collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support operational objectives.

  • Following safety procedures, manufacturing processes, and company policies always.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

  • Maintaining an organized and clean work environment in accordance with workplace standards.

  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in soldering and small-parts assembly.

  • Have experience using hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment.

  • Have the ability to assemble electro-mechanical components with a high degree of accuracy and quality.

  • Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

  • Have strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.

  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Have the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

  • Have experience following documented work instructions, procedures, and Bills of Material (BOM).

  • Have excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing assembly tasks.

  • Have the dexterity and fine motor skills required to handle small components and detailed assembly work safely and effectively.
