This position is responsible for all aspects of assembling, testing, and packaging of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products.
1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Assemble electro-mechanical product as required; may need to use hand tools, soldering irons, adhesives, and occasionally use microscopes.
3. Operate computerized testing and calibration equipment of assembled product and subassemblies.
4. Perform visual and/or functional inspection of components before use, including printed circuit boards, machined/fabricated components, and other precision components.
5. Manually pack product into proper packaging.
6. Maintain stock levels in work area.
7. Maintain clean and organized work area.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
The position exists in a production environment with frequent use of automated test equipment. May require the use of eye protection, hand protection, and, depending on noise level, hearing protection.
Visual acuity in compliance with site specific Visual Acuity Program. Majority of workday is spent either standing or sitting. On occasion, may stoop, bend, reach, pull, etc. Typically include frequent lifting of up to 20 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Frequent repetitive motion tasks. This position is not eligible for remote work. This may change based on job responsibilities, project/business needs and/or Associate job performance. In all cases Associates may need to have on-site presence for designated meetings and compliance related activities.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in assembly or electronics experience. Basic computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office.
The annualized base wage range for this role is $18.81 to $20.85. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
