Job Description

Shift:

Second Shift: Monday -- Friday, 2:30pm -- 11:00pm

As an Assembler, a typical day might include the following:

  • Build custom electrical and mechanical control panels according to schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings

  • Perform mechanical assembly of panel enclosures, mounting components such as DIN rail, terminal blocks, PLCs, relays, and power supplies
  • Wire panels point-to-point, including power, control, and communication wiring
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Label wires, devices, and panels to specification
  • Perform panel testing, inspection, and troubleshooting to verify proper operation
  • Identify and correct wiring or assembly issues prior to final delivery
  • Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and build documentations
  • Following detailed work instructions to perform production duties such as assembly, operating machinery, packaging products, building products and soldering.

  • Learning and following all safety policies.

  • Developing positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.

  • Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently

  • Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours

  • Vision correctable to 20/30 or better

  • Differentiate color

  • Reach, bend, kneel, twist, grip, pinch

  • Fine finger dexterity sufficient to handle and place parts with precision and accuracy for at least 8 hours

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $21.00 per hour. Second shift employees also receive a shift differential of $1.75. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills
