Assembler – First Shift

Location: McKenzie, TN

Republic Doors and Frames, a part of the Allegion team, has a long history as a leading U.S. manufacturer of commercial steel doors and related hardware solutions, including specialty applications such as acoustical, tornado, hurricane, and bullet-resistant assemblies. We build products that help create peace of mind by pioneering safety and security.

Position: Assembler (First Shift)

As an Assembler, you are a crucial part of the Allegion team, responsible for assembling steel door components to produce high-quality steel doors that help create peace of mind by pioneering safety and security. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred; however, don’t let that deter you from applying—we will support you in training and development.

  • Responsible for assembling parts to produce steel doors
  • Gathers and prepares parts and tools
  • Assembles door components following instructions (skins, cores, panels, hardware prep, and related door assemblies)
  • Resolves assembly problems and notifies frontline leader/supervisor for additional resources
  • Performs work under minimal supervision
  • Handles complex issues and problems
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter
  • Provides coaching/mentoring to peers
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Manual dexterity
  • Leadership skills

Shift and Compensation:

  • We are hiring for FIRST SHIFT
  • Starting Pay: $18.44 per hour

What You Will Do:

  • Gather and prepare parts and tools for steel door production
  • Assemble door components (skins, cores, panels, hardware prep) following provided instructions
  • Resolve assembly problems and notify frontline leader/supervisor for additional resources
  • Conduct quality checks on door assemblies and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules in a fast-paced steel door manufacturing environment

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass all required drug screen and background checks
  • Team player attitude
  • Manual dexterity
