Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Assembler. The core hours are 5:00am to 1:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $20.78 per hour.

They will be responsible for working on a production line by ensuring that all processes are completed effectively and efficiently and ready to be handed to the next member of the team. Time management, reading technical documents, and having the ability to identify quality control issues are a must.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lift material onto machines, manually or with a hoist
• Document production numbers on a board at station.
• Review purchase orders with manufacturing details, design specifications, and assembly instructions to ensure work is performed according to specifications
• Cut and strip wires according to specifications
• Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using pneumatic drills, drivers, rivets, bolts, glue, soldering or micro-welding equipment
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
• Pack finished assemblies for shipment and place on pick up line for distribution using tape dispenser and safety box cutter
• Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
• Read testing device to ensure quality of product
• Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work stations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hours
• Able to perform with constant movement of the arms

• Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools.

• Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.
• Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processing, and quality control.
• English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
