Job Description

Participate in a team environment to meet customer requirements for timely delivery of high-quality devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of routine tasks. May also work on moderately difficult or demanding tasks. Works under general supervision for new or difficult tasks. Routine tasks not closely supervised. Recognizes and corrects most problems without assistance. Assemble or create sub-assembly of electronic, mechanical, and/or electro-mechanical parts and components. Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses. Maintain records of assembly process, progress, and problems. May be required to read and interpret blueprints. Maintain records of assembly process, progress, and problems. Maintain proficiency in the use of required machinery/equipment and resolve downtime issues related to machinery/equipment maintenance. May replace and repair defective or rejected components.

Skills and Abilities Required: Cross-trained and signed off in two or more product areas. Acts on knowledge of company practices, procedures, policies, and job tasks to complete a wide variety of assignments. Fully proficient in all skills needed to perform job. Must be able to read and communicate in English. Possess great attention to detail. Computer skills for data entry in spreadsheets and other programs. Strong attendance and work ethic. Quality conscious. Follows procedures closely. Work positively with others, even in difficult circumstances. Work as a team member within work group and with entire production floor. Able to handle multiple priorities. Concentrate and maintain energy over long periods of time. Always looking for better ways to improve product and/or process.

Physical Demands:

Sitting 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement, including but not limited to simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, with one or both hands 6-8 hours per day. Walking less than 1 hour per day. Standing less than 1 hour per day. Bending neck less than 1 hour per day. Twisting neck less than 1 hour per day. Bending at waist (forward or sideways) less than 1 hour per day. Twisting waist less than 1 hour per day. Squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling less than 1 hour per day. Reach above shoulder height less than 1 hour per day. Reach below shoulder height less than 1 hour per day. Repetitive foot movement 1-2 hours per day. Minimum exposure to dust/gas/fumes/steam/chemicals.
